早年生活
巴特誕生於在一個演藝世家，父親是印度知名導演馬希殊·巴特（Mahesh Bhatt），母親是女演員索妮·拉桑（Soni Razdan）。她的父亲是古吉拉特人，母亲則有克什米爾及德國血統。[3][4]男演员伊姆蘭·哈希米是她的表哥。
演艺事业
1999年，當時只有六歲的巴特在一套電影扮演了一個小角色。2012年，她在卡蘭·喬哈（Karan Johar）導演的《年度最佳學生》首次擔任女主角，飾演一名富家小姐。此電影得到巨大的商業收益，也使巴特成為新一代寶萊塢的女明星。她也憑此作品獲得了2013年印度電影觀眾獎的最佳女新人提名[5]。
