詹姆斯·比恩

詹姆斯·比恩(James Beane)是美國的教育家，以课程整合教育而著名。他承繼了L. Thomas Hopkins在1930年代到1950年代有關核心課程(core curriculum)及漸進式教育(progressive education)的努力，並結合他在當地初、高中的教學經驗，從而繼續朝這個方向研究。現時他是課程設計方面的專家，為美國及多個國家與組織的教育計劃貢獻。1997年，他榮獲美國國立中學聯會(the National Middle School Association)頒發的John Lounsbury Award。
