The now expired patent covers a design for improving the comfort and wear-ability for brassieres using a "diagonal slash" where the shoulder straps meet the brassiere cup. This is public domain and was sources from the US patent office. This diagram is part of the Wonder-Bra history. Israel Pilot trademarked the Wonder-Bra in 1935. His company, D'Amour, manufactured this design under that trade-mark in the US from 1940 through 1955.
