The Garuda Hern Het Barge at the Royal Barge Museum in Bangkok, Thailand. The barge features a red garuda on the front. In Hindu mythology the Garuda is the vehicle of Narai (Vishnu) and is a creature with a birds head, beak, talons and wings of an eagle and the torso of a human being.
An original figurehead (date unknown) was installed on a reconstructed hull in 1968. The barge is 29 meters long and held 34 oarsmen and 7 crew members.
