2023年11月，消息指2AM（英語：2AM (company)）的大衛·伊諾霍薩（英語：David Hinojosa）將與雄起影業（Man Up Films）的哈琳娜·瑞金（英語：Halina Reijn）共同擔任影片製片人，A24負責融資，A2M的朱莉亞·吳、扎克·努特曼（Zach Nutman）和克里斯汀·德索薩·蓋爾布（Christine D'Souza Gelb）擔任執行製片人[9]。其後消息指朱莉亞·吳擔任製片人，而非早前所說的執行製片人[10]。哈琳娜·瑞金除了擔任製片人，也負責電影的執導及編劇工作[11][12]。本片將是哈琳娜·瑞金執導的第二部英語長片，兩部長片都由A24製片[13][14]。
