Random thoughts, ideas and wishes
- refdef: When using the <ref> tags (cite.php), articles easily get cluttered with large chunks of reference text within paragraphs. It would be better if the definition of the reference could be separate from the usage of the reference. I propose that a) reference definitions do not have to be in the first <ref> tag of a specific id, and b) an additional tag is added, maybe called "<refdef>" that works just like <ref>, but does not add a note (a "[1]"). I just noticed that this problem is mentioned in Cite/Cite.php#Criticisms. I think my syntax is nicer, though. Bugzilla: [1]
- Reference highlighting: When following a note (a <ref>), it would be nice if the matching reference was somehow highlighted, through JavaScript.
- Yay, this happened, at least on enwiki. How do we get it on svwiki?
