生平
王湘圣出生于美国加利福尼亚州佛利蒙。[2]他在南加州大学攻读电影专业，曾在 Google Creative Lab 工作。[1]他参与过多个圣丹斯学院项目，包括导演和编剧实验室。[1]
他的首部长片导演作品《弟弟》于2024年的圣丹斯电影节首映，并获得了美国戏剧类观众奖。[3]他的纪录短片《奶奶跟外婆》则于2023年的西南偏南影展首映，并同时获得大陪审团奖和观众奖。[4][5]该片随后获得第96届奥斯卡金像奖最佳纪录短片提名。[6][7]
