英国皇家工兵部队

皇家工兵部队(英语:Corps of Royal Engineers,一般称为Royal Engineers,缩写:RE),或译皇家工程兵兵团,是英国陆军工兵部队,其总部和皇家军事工兵学院Royal School of Military Engineering)均位于肯特郡查塔姆,旗下有多个团,驻扎于英国和世界其他地区。皇家工兵博物馆则位于肯特郡吉林汉姆。其历史可以追溯到1716年成立的工兵部队(Corps of Engineers),1856年改现名。[1] 英属印度时期的很多基础设施是该部队完成的,此外它承包的工程还包括皇家阿尔伯特音乐厅里多运河等。
