天炉座矮星系
天炉座矮星系是一个位在天炉座的星系，是在1938年以反射望远镜被哈罗·沙普利发现于南非的博伊登天文台。天炉座矮星系是银河系的卫星星系之一，它有六个球状星团，其中最大的NGC 1049甚至比星系本身更早发现。
