山松甲虫
山松甲虫（学名：Dendroctonus ponderosae，英语：mountain pine beetle）是大小蠹属下的一种树皮甲虫，原产于墨西哥到英属哥伦比亚中部的北美地区，是这些地区最严重的植物害虫之一[1]。

它体长虽然只有5毫米，但却能造成大规模的植物死亡。美国落基山国家公园自1996年开始就饱受它的困扰，有上百万英亩的植物被其啃噬至死。[2]
