历史
根特原名格兰德维尤（Grand View），1882年改为现称。1874年设立营运至今邮局，1899年升格为城市。[4]此地得名自比利时城市根特。[5][6]

根据2020年美国人口普查的数据，根特的面积为0.81平方千米，皆为陆地。当地共有人口376人，而人口密度为每平方千米464人。[1]
