医学检验官
医学检验官(英语:medical examiner)是特指美国某些司法管辖区的委任验尸官[1],负责调查异乎寻常或可疑的死亡,进行死因检验,展开死因研讯。医学检验官须为受过病理学训练的人士[2][3]。
医学检验官不须为医生。律师及非专业人士亦可担任。
