多洛雷斯·理查德·斯派克斯
多洛雷斯·理查德·斯派克斯 （Dolores Margaret Richard Spikes，1936年8月24日—2015年6月1日），是一名美國數學家，曾在1997年至2001年，擔任馬里蘭大學東海岸分校的校長[1]。

生平
斯派克斯入學南方大學學習數學，並於1957年畢業，隨後在伊利諾伊大學厄巴納-香檳分校攻讀碩士學位。[2] 1971年，她畢業於路易斯安娜州立大學，並獲得數學博士學位，她也是第一名獲得該學位的非裔美國人[3]。斯派克斯是美國第一名女性大學校監，並隨後成為美國大學系統的第一位女性校長。[4]
2015年6月1日，斯派克斯去世，享年78歲[5]。她嫁給赫蒙·斯派克斯，後者於2008年去世。他們的孩子朗達去世於2010年[6]。
