蜜茱萸屬

蜜茱萸屬（學名：Melicope）是芸香科的一個屬，約150種，為灌木或喬木，分布於夏威夷、澳大利亞、新西蘭之間的大洋洲和亞洲熱帶地區。蜜茱萸屬的葉為對生或互生，單小葉或三小葉，很少出現羽狀複葉，葉片上有透明的腺點。蜜茱萸屬的花小，通常為單性，排成頂生或腋生的聚傘花序或密傘花序；有4裂萼片；4裂呈鑷合狀或稍覆瓦狀排列的花瓣；花盆厚，全緣或分裂；8枚雄蕊；4個幾乎分離的心皮組成雌蕊，每一個心皮內有胚珠2枚；花柱為單生或頂端4裂。成熟的心皮有1－4個，呈2瓣裂，通常有1枚發亮的種子。蜜茱萸屬和吳茱萸屬很相近，但是蜜茱萸屬的雄蕊為花瓣數的2倍，而吳茱萸屬的雄蕊與花瓣數相同。
