Guabito is a corregimiento and town in the Changuinola District of the Bocas del Toro Province of Panama.[2] It is a small town located directly across the Rio Sixaola from Sixaola, Costa Rica. An elevated former railroad grade and bridge connects Guabito to Sixaola.[3] This border crossing is popular with tourists going between Costa Rica and Bocas del Toro,[4] though few tourists stop in Guabito longer than necessary to clear Panamanian customs.[3]
Guabito has a land area of 168.8平方公里（65.2平方英里） and had a population of 8,387 as of 2010, giving it a population density of 49.7名居民每平方公里（129名居民每平方英里）.[1] 該市2000年時人口為11,125，1990年時人口為14,366。[1]
