西比·喬治
西比·喬治（英語：Sibi George，馬拉雅拉姆語：സിബി ജോർജ്，1967年5月20日—[1]），印度外交官，現任印度駐日本大使。

經歷
西比·喬治出身印度南方喀拉拉邦果塔延縣。[2]除了母語馬拉雅拉姆語，喬治還精通阿拉伯語、印地語、英語和泰米爾語。[1][2]
就讀於開羅美國大學，喬治在本科和研究生階段都獲得了金牌獎章。他還在穆索里的拉爾·巴哈杜爾·夏斯特里國家行政學院、新德里的蘇什瑪·斯瓦拉傑外交學院、艾哈邁達巴德的印度管理學院、班加羅爾的印度管理學院、新德里的印度外貿學院和海得拉巴的印度商學院接受過培訓。[2]
1993年，喬治進入印度外交部門。他的外交生涯始於開羅，在印度駐開羅使團擔任政治官員。隨後，他轉到印度駐多哈大使館，作為一等祕書負責領事、社區、信息和媒體事務。此後，他在印度駐伊斯蘭堡高級專員公署擔任政治參贊，在印度駐華盛頓大使館擔任政治參贊和商務參贊。他還在印度駐德黑蘭和利雅得使團擔任副團長。[2]
在新德里的外交部總部，他任職於東亞司，還擔任印度－非洲論壇峰會的協調員。之後，他領導了外交部的行政、編制和福利部門。2014年，外交部授予他S·K·辛格印度外事服務優秀獎。[2]2017年11月12日至2020年8月3日，任印度駐瑞士大使，[3]兼任印度駐聖座大使[4]和印度駐列支敦士登大使[5]。2020年8月至2022年10月，任印度駐科威特大使。[6]
2022年9月12日，喬治被任命為下一任印度駐日本大使。[7]兼任駐馬紹爾羣島大使。[8]喬治於2022年底就任，[9]並於次年1月19日遞交國書。[10]
個人生活
西比·喬治已婚，與妻子育有兩女一子。[2]
