背景
老鷹樂隊於1974年底開始研究他們的第四張專輯，Glenn Frey和Don Henley自己寫了九首歌曲中的四首，並與其他三首歌曲合作。許多歌曲都是在Frey和Henley在比佛利山莊一個房子的時候寫的，其中包括"One of These Nights", "Lyin' Eyes", "Take It To The Limit" 和 "After The Thrill Is Gone"。
