山藍鴨
山藍鴨（中國大陸作山鴨，台灣作山藍鴨）（學名：Hymenolaimus malacorhynchos；英語：Blue Duck、Mountain Duck、Blue Mountain Duck；毛利語：Whio）是鴨科山藍鴨屬（Hymenolaimus）的唯一一種生物，僅見於新西蘭，新西蘭十元紙幣上印着的鳥就是它。它在新西蘭以其毛利語名「Whio」（發音近似fee-o）知名，這個詞描述的是其雄鳥尖銳的叫聲[2][3]。

形態
體長53—54 cm（21—21吋），雌性較小，重680—870 g（24—31 oz），雄性重820—1,077 g（28.9—38.0 oz）。兩性的羽毛顏色區別不大，只不過雌鳥胸部的栗色會淺一些[4]。
