鄰苯二甲酸二乙酯(英語:Diethyl phthalate,縮寫DEP)是一種鄰苯二甲酸乙醇形成的,室溫下為無色澄清液體,密度略大於水,燃燒時會產生有毒氣體[3]

由於鄰苯二甲酸二乙酯可溶於大部分有機溶劑,因此常用於化妝品和香水[4] ,其他工業用途包括增塑劑、洗滌劑和噴霧劑[5]。由於皮膚經常暴露於鄰苯二甲酸二乙酯,它的毒性問題非常重要。幾個研究表明鄰苯二甲酸二乙酯會造成神經系統損傷和男性與女性的生殖系統問題[6][7][8]
