歷史
1911年，SNC的前身Arthur Surveyer & Cie.在蒙特利爾成立[3]。
蘭萬靈的前身Lalonde, Valois International Limited則成立於1936年[4] :331[5]，1972年更名為Lavalin[5]。
1986年，它已經是加拿大最大的工程公司，1985年的營業收入為6.25億美元[6]，而SNC僅次於它[6]。1991年，SNC收購蘭萬靈，形成新公司。
問題
SNC-蘭萬靈高管曾多次因被指控違反《外國公職人員腐敗法》（Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act）而接受調查，如1995至2008年的喀拉拉邦水電大壩醜聞[7]，以及2001年至2011年間賄賂利比亞官員[8]。
