攻佔提康德羅加堡發生於1775年5月10日，由伊杉·艾倫和貝內迪克特·阿諾德上校率領的綠山嶺兄弟攻克了在要塞內的英國守軍，並強走了守軍的擁有物。要塞內的加農砲及其餘軍備均被運往波士頓以便攻克多徹斯特高地堡壘，進而打破波士頓攻城戰的僵局。
攻佔提康德羅加堡後，一支小分隊也於5月11日攻佔了皇冠點要塞。5月18日，阿諾德率領50人大膽地突襲位於魁北克省南部，黎塞留河旁的聖讓恩堡，擄獲軍事糧備、加農砲及尚普蘭湖上大批軍用船隻。
雖然這次軍事行動的規模相當小，但卻富含重大戰略意義。此次行動切斷了北方英軍和南方英軍的聯絡，且給予新生的大陸軍於1775年末入侵魁北克的機會。此外，本次行動也意味深長地影響了艾倫和阿諾德兩位指揮官，他們試圖藉由這些事件獲取更多的信用及榮耀。
