龙涎香醇
龙涎香醇(英文:Ambrein)为芳香物质,被使用于香水工业中。它是龙涎香中最主要的成分,龙涎香是从抹香鲸消化系统中分泌出的。且龙涎香醇也被认为是龙涎香中有所谓春药功效的可能成分。[1]

生物合成
龙涎香醇的生物合成起始于鲨烯,由鲨烯-藿烯环化酶(SHC)催化其生成单环的3-deoxyachilleol A,之后Tetraprenyl-beta-curcumene synthase(BmeTC)将3-deoxyachilleol A 转化为三环的龙涎香醇[4]
