俄羅斯猶太人

約公元500年前，就有猶太人居住在俄羅斯。俄羅斯猶太人中最大的群體是德系猶太人。此外還有高加索猶太人、塞法迪猶太人、卡拉伊姆人。俄羅斯帝國曾經是世界上存在最多流散猶太人人口最多的國家[12]。在俄羅斯帝國內的德系猶太人社區蓬勃發展，同時也面臨著反猶太的歧視政策和迫害[13]。現今俄羅斯境內的猶太人口在歐洲國家中依舊排名第一[14]。

歷史

莫斯科大親王國內的猶太人最早可以追溯到1471年。卡捷琳娜二世統治期間，因瓜分波蘭吸納大量猶太人，猶太人被限制在俄羅斯境內的柵欄區。後來猶太人獲准離開柵欄區前往柵欄區以東地區居住。亞歷山大三世時期反猶太政策變本加厲。從1880年代開始，帝國境內出現了一波又一波的反猶太大屠殺。1880年至1920年間，超過200萬猶太人逃離俄羅斯，大部分逃往美國和現今的以色列[15]。
