子宮靜脈位於子宮主韌帶中，流入髂內靜脈，其走向與子宮動脈相似。子宮靜脈通過促進子宮內的血液交換，清除懷孕期間胎盤中的血液廢物。

結構

子宮靜脈位於子宮主韌帶內。它穿過子宮闊韌帶到達腹壁^[1]，流入髂內靜脈。^[1] ^[2]

子宮靜脈會在子宮頸周圍形成靜脈叢，這些靜脈叢會與卵巢靜脈和陰道靜脈的靜脈叢發生吻合，^[2]^[3]其走行方式與子宮動脈相似。^[4]

功能

子宮靜脈通過參與子宮內的血液循環，^[5]清除懷孕期間胎盤中的血液廢物。^[5]

臨床意義

胎盤測量

在剖腹產手術時，子宮靜脈中血氧分壓的測量結果可作為胎盤中血氧分壓的參考。 ^[6]

栓塞

極少數情況下，羊水可能會在分娩過程中進入子宮靜脈。 ^[7]這是引起栓塞的罕見原因。^[7]

其他動物

非人類動物的子宮靜脈可能存在較大差異。 ^[8]例如在大鼠中，子宮靜脈會匯入髂總靜脈。^[8]
