葛利斯12（GJ 12）是一顆紅矮星，距離地球39.7光年（12.2秒差距） ，位於雙魚座。它的質量約為太陽的24%，半徑約為太陽的26%，溫度約為3,296 K（3,023 °C；5,473 °F） 。它是一顆不活躍的恆星，擁有一顆已知的系外行星。[5]

行星系統
2024年5月，凌日系外行星葛利斯12 b由TESS發現，並發表了兩項獨立研究，證實它是一顆行星。[5][6]葛利斯12 b的大小與地球和金星相似，每12.8天繞其恆星運行一周。它的質量目前尚不清楚，但已知其質量不到地球質量的4倍。
葛利斯12 b與TRAPPIST-1的行星，都是已知距離地球最近，且相對溫和的凌日系外行星之一，有希望透過詹姆斯·韋伯太空望遠鏡確定其是否保留了大氣層。[7]葛利斯12 b的軌道與其恆星適居帶的內緣距離很近，其日照量介於地球和金星之間。[6]假設反照率為零，其平衡溫度為315 K（42 °C；107 °F） ；如果它有大氣層，表面溫度則會高於這個數字。
