Oct4
Oct4(八聚體結合轉錄因子4, octamer-binding transcription factor 4),亦稱爲POU5F1(第五類POU結構域轉錄因子1),是一種蛋白質,在人體中由POU5F1基因編碼[6]。Oct4是一種具有與POU結構域同源的結構域的轉錄因子。Oct4對未分化的胚胎幹細胞的自我更新與幹性維持至關重要[7]。也正因如此,有時Oct4會被用來作標記未分化細胞的分子標記。Oct4的過表達或低表達都會造成細胞的分化,因此Oct4隻在特定的表達強度下才能維持細胞的幹性[8]。
