本頁發佈暨討論維基百科及其姊妹計劃的新聞和消息，不是拉票行為，尤其我沒有指明投票給哪一位其實是相當沒有任何理據我在拉票，尤其閣下的說法不符合這個頁面的建立規則，你將一個討論的新聞強行扯為拉票是相當不合理。英文維基新聞社群亦不依靠投票進行因為投票是邪惡的專案工作，包括升級版權，另外懷疑閣下沒有閱讀相關的通知相關的內容，就是因為即將要被存檔，所以請求大家討論，完全不屬於拉票範圍，另請不要假定惡意，謝謝。沒有任何合理的關閉理由。強烈反對關閉。這完全是屬於破壞騷擾討論，因為本頁面就是發佈這個資訊用途。這個頁面沒有說需要一定要發佈中文維基百科內部事務，這個是沒有任何的社群共識，你這樣的言論嚴重違反了這個頁面的創立準則。有關的內容並不違反這個頁面規則，本身就是給姊妹計劃用的，完全就是扭曲了這個頁面建立的初衷。本身頁面沒有禁止發佈姊妹專案，他認為這個屬於英文維基新聞內部事務就不能直接在那個頁面上面發佈，就相當違反那個頁面建立的目的。另外，懷疑拉票是否就可以直接存檔？我並沒有說係投哪一個票，只發佈了這個投票的通知，大家可以過去那邊投票，而且就算我說投票也沒有講明是投哪個。拉票應該是說叫大家去投哪一個吧。你的任何關閉理由都並不成立。另外拉票的頁面講到明要投給特定的觀點，加上尤其這個頁面就是給這個用途的，姊妹計劃的內部事務，從來沒有被禁止發佈在這個頁面當中，這個頁面也清楚寫明是屬於可以的，我就完全不明白這種行為與不當關閉討論有何分別。--Kitabc12345 _海南 2024年1月4日 (四) 02:32 (UTC)

另外這個不符合WP:CANVASS#垃圾郵件和過度跨頁張貼不加區別的發送通知給並無牽涉到事件的旁觀編輯因此你的說法亦是不成立的，亦都沒有任何的解釋。你需要為此進行道歉。「垃圾郵件：過量張貼訊息給個別使用者，或是給與當前主題沒有顯著關係的使用者。」顯然維基新聞屬於維基專案計劃一部分，這個頁面本身就一常允許姊妹計劃的發佈消息，並不與維基百科無關，你不應該重新定義這個頁面明確標示本頁發佈暨討論維基百科及其姊妹計劃的新聞和消息。這個頁面顯然不構成不加區別的發送通知給並無牽涉到事件的旁觀編輯。這樣的過度解釋是極不恰當的，這個頁面本身就是發佈姊妹計劃的消息。你這樣是過度用文本分析，亦無助於維基百科計劃和維基計劃的進步，在這板發佈相關內容完全不構成違反WP:CANVASS#垃圾郵件和過度跨頁張貼。見不到這個消息發送在這裏屬於你所說的垃圾郵件分類，因為Wikipedia:互助客栈/消息他清楚地寫到明這個頁面就可以發佈這些消息。Wikipedia:沒壞就不要修: 如果問題沒有真正發生，試圖解決這虛構「問題」對維基百科沒有效益。這樣對規則的誤解是非常地不恰當，我仍需要強調的就是這個維基新聞社群通知升級版權需要你的討論很明顯沒有發送通知給並無牽涉到事件的旁觀編輯，你根本就不明白這板設立的目的，這一版所瀏覽的編輯本身就會瀏覽到姊妹計劃消息，並且沒有任何問題，難道這一版就是不能發佈姊妹計劃的消息嗎?。你的任何言論不符合WP:CANVASS#垃圾郵件和過度跨頁張貼「不論出於任何原因（即便目標並非影響討論的結果），不加區別的發送通知給並無牽涉到事件的旁觀編輯，可以被視為「對話頁濫發訊息」（或電子郵件濫發訊息），且屬於擾亂」。--Kitabc12345 _海南 2024年1月4日 (四) 04:04 (UTC)

始終 Wikidata 新聞報是由 Wikidata 的本地社群發起，他們社群也認可這做法（至少他們沒有反對），就算是有討論連結，就個人理解不會對他們社群造成困擾。

個人主要的擔憂是這次通知可能引來本身不熟悉英文維基新聞的編者參與討論，為當地社群帶來困擾，相信各位也不希望這情況發生。

當然，也許是個人過慮，也明白 Kitabc12345 君只是一心想幫助及貢獻維基新聞，如果為您帶來不必要的困擾，個人十分抱歉，也感謝您長年為維基新聞的付出。謝謝。--SCP-0000（留言） 2024年1月4日 (四) 07:05 (UTC)

英文社群本身已要求通知全部語言的意見，只需要說明來自其他語言即可，以確保全體語言都知道，而不僅限於enwikinews ，也包括所有語言的wikinews，不會為當地社群及wikinews社群帶來困擾，討論串大多者也不是當地社群及維基新聞的成員，任何維基編輯發表意見不會影響到社群運作及原先他們發起這個討論的原意，相關的更新也是由維基新聞社群才可以作出，就算有很差的不熟悉者由社群糾正回覆即可，除非違反維基新聞相關守則，不會為別人帶來困擾，因為社群可以參與到你的意見，而正正不熟悉就是應該值得討論的理由，本身討論沒有僅限於維基新聞社群才可以討論，英文維基新聞好多來自與其他社群，在他們專案上面的討論包含發佈寫社論等這些不是由他們的社群成員發佈的內容也引起他們的回應，這些不叫困擾，這個叫引起關注，這些都是協助式計劃，任何人發表的言論為任何人帶來困擾他們也會說的，所以無需避免發生這種情況，因為這種預設假想的情況扭曲了這個相關討論的原意，即讓人討論關注。我認為這種所謂影響只能說是你的個人考量才進行的操作，本身就沒有禁止除了當地社群以外的人的討論，而且絕對是有善環境當中進行。--Kitabc12345 _海南 2024年1月4日 (四) 14:40 (UTC)

英文維基新聞的討論社群亦認可這做法（發佈在所有語言的做法），他們的社群也去了各語言發佈討論的連結，這個不是僅限於英文的內部事務，你應該詳細閱讀討論之後才避免發表假想言論，因為你沒有理解當地社群的意見，這項討論本身就允許來自非enwikinews的人討論，亦都更已發給全體語言社群參與討論連結，因此其實與wikidata一樣，我不明白你為什麼要加（至少他們沒有反對）因為事實上他們也沒有反對，這種為對事實的扭曲。--Kitabc12345 _海南 2024年1月4日 (四) 14:47 (UTC)

You are humbly invited to organize the Feminism and Folklore 2024 writing competition from February 1, 2023, to March 31, 2023 on your local Wikipedia. This year, Feminism and Folklore will focus on feminism, women's issues, and gender-focused topics for the project, with a Wiki Loves Folklore gender gap focus and a folk culture theme on Wikipedia.

You can help Wikipedia's coverage of folklore from your area by writing or improving articles about things like folk festivals, folk dances, folk music, women and queer folklore figures, folk game athletes, women in mythology, women warriors in folklore, witches and witch hunting, fairy tales, and more. Users can help create new articles, expand or translate from a generated list of suggested articles.

Organisers are requested to work on the following action items to sign up their communities for the project:

1. Create a page for the contest on the local wiki.
2. Set up a campaign on CampWiz tool.
3. Create the local list and mention the timeline and local and international prizes.
4. Request local admins for site notice.
5. Link the local page and the CampWiz link on the meta project page.

This year, the Wiki Loves Folklore Tech Team has introduced two new tools to enhance support for the campaign. These tools include the Article List Generator by Topic and CampWiz. The Article List Generator by Topic enables users to identify articles on the English Wikipedia that are not present in their native language Wikipedia. Users can customize their selection criteria, and the tool will present a table showcasing the missing articles along with suggested titles. Additionally, users have the option to download the list in both CSV and wikitable formats. Notably, the CampWiz tool will be employed for the project for the first time, empowering users to effectively host the project with a jury. Both tools are now available for use in the campaign.   • Wikidata:WikiProject IBC 2024 - The International Botanical Congress (IBC) takes place once every six years. The organisers of this WikiProject see this conference as an ideal opportunity to engage with the wider botanical community, educate them about the potential of Wikidata and to train them in its use. • [Breaking Change] We are changing how empty Sense and Form lists are represented in dumps
• Fixed the order of item/property suggestions on several occasions, primarily sex or gender (P21) (phab:T355697)
• mul lanuage code: We are wrapping up the usability testing.
• IP Masking: We continued the work on adapting Wikibase for the upcoming change to not show IP addresses for non-logged in users anymore.
• Wikibase REST API:
  • We added the ability to add a sitelink to an Item or edit an existing one (phab:T342987)
  • We are fixing a bug where badges were missing in the API reponse for sitelinks (phab:T355293)
