2028年美国总统选举将于2028年11月7日星期二举行[1]。现任美国总统唐纳德·特朗普在赢得2016年和2024年总统选举后,根据美国宪法《第二十二修正案》的规定,总统特朗普没有资格连任第三届任期。特朗普的第二届任期将于2029年1月20日中午届满,届时2028年大选的获胜者将就任总统和副总统。

背景
共和党总统副总统候选人特朗普和万斯于2024年撃败民主党总统副总统候选人卡玛拉·哈里斯和蒂姆·沃尔兹,将于2025年1月宣誓后上台就职。特朗普曾于2016年当选总统,但在2020年连任竞选中输给了乔·拜登,而拜登在选举三个月前宣布不竞选连任,并由副总统卡玛拉·哈里斯接替。共和党亦赢得了参议院的多数地位并保住了众议院的多数地位[2]。
