選舉

2028年美國總統選舉將於2028年11月7日星期二舉行[1]。現任美國總統唐納·川普在贏得2016年和2024年總統選舉後，根據美國憲法《第二十二修正案》的規定，總統川普沒有資格連任第三屆任期。川普的第二屆任期將於2029年1月20日中午屆滿，屆時2028年大選的獲勝者將就任總統和副總統。

現任總統川普

共和黨總統副總統候選人川普和萬斯於2024年撃敗民主黨總統副總統候選人賀錦麗和提姆·華茲，將於2025年1月宣誓後上台就職。川普曾於2016年當選總統，但在2020年連任競選中輸給了喬·拜登，而拜登在選舉三個月前宣佈不競選連任，並由副總統賀錦麗接替。共和黨亦贏得了參議院的多數地位並保住了眾議院的多數地位[2]。
